SATURDAY, AUGUST 19th - 6:52 a.m.
I killed that French Toast...didn`t stand a chance.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 19th - 7:00 a.m.
Justin and Terry are both up now...and like a football team in the locker room before "pre-game"...it`s quiet right now. Everyone is caught just between tired and focused. It`s a good place to be. I love this feeling. It`s almost like the calm before the storm.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 19th - 7:34 a.m.
Everyone`s showered up and I just called for the car, so we`re out of here by 8 a.m. sharp. You see, on "game day" I have to be on time or Terry, my 1st, who by the very nature on his position on "the team", woke up this morning pist off at father time, will come unglued if we are let for reasons that WE could control. So of respect for his hypersensative ass, I`ll make extra sure my shit is together for him. Anything less, in his eyes, would be insulting.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 19th - 7:43 a.m.
I got my "gametime" Harlem Globetrotter" gear on display. Word.SATURDAY, AUGUST 19th - 8:02 a.m.We`re off...and we`re two minutes late. And true to form, Terry`s middle vein is bulging in his head like any good AD`s vein should be. Ahhhh. "T-Pot Terry". What a dude, people. What a dude. Glad he`s on my team.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 19th - 8:29 a.m. So we just picked out up our cast members and we`re headed downtown. The sky is perfectly marble grey, the rain has just started to fall, and right now...this second...is the reason why I direct videos. There`s an energy here that`s something I can`t even put into words. Right now, this second, there`s no better place to be, no better job to have, and no better life to lead... It`s going to be a f`ing awesome video. I can feel it. I can see it. I know it. It`s hard to explain how...but I just know it... and that is a great feeling to have... LETS DO THIS!
